Peppermints and the ACS Study Guide

I woke up at 6am to finish studying for my organic chemistry final - but I wasn't having much luck studying at my apartment so I drove the 15 minutes into town to hang out on the third floor of Sterne. I was sitting there, anxiously waiting for 4:15 to roll around, cuddling up sideways in a comfy chair and reading when Raymond showed up. I had the perfect atmosphere to concentrate ... peppermint in my mouth, sun on my neck, hydroboration and oxymercuration in my head, and with Rambo playing the air drums to Cartel... when I realized something sad. When this is all over... this thing they call college that holds a handful of incredible people and hilarious memories... my life with be lonely.

Going away to Europe for the summer already has me missing my dear Birmingham and all the joys it inherently possesses. What am I ever going to do when I move away in December?

My future Gap buddy and the lab partner love of my life. He makes sure I keep my eye on the prize, always. Except for when we're in class (see below), and I'm hyper... and then I ask him if I can put my feet up on the desk... and if he's in a really good mood... he says yes. !

The lovely Mr. Finn Perkins.... and the frantic hustle before our last chemistry exam in our educational careers. It was an amazing feeling to finally be done with lecture hall CHEM101.

Birmingham on display from my chair in the 3rd floor alcove. It was gorgeous outside today.

But I'm in a rush. I still must pack for Washington DC and get to Basecamp to say goodbye to all of my sisters and the Delta Sigs... and make it to Courtney's house before she kills me for keeping her awake so late. Goodnight, my loves.
